Supervisor (S123) Refresher
Course Introduction:
Supervisors must refresh their qualifications every five years or as required by site-specific regulations. This course helps those in supervisory roles stay up-to-date on essential skills, including safety protocols, communication, and risk management, ensuring they remain compliant with industry standards.
Prior Evidence:
Before enrolling, attendees will need to provide:
- A previous Statement of Attainment for the Supervisor (S123) course OR
- A signed training transcript from your site confirming your prior training.
Course Overview:
The course covers three key competencies:
- RIICOM301E – Communicate information: Improve your communication skills to effectively share safety and operational information, keeping your team aligned with procedures.
- RIIWHS301E – Conduct safety and health investigations: Gain the ability to conduct thorough safety and health investigations, identify hazards, and maintain a secure workplace.
- RIIRIS301E – Apply risk management processes: Learn to apply risk management processes that control hazards, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Certification:
Once you successfully complete the refresher you will receive a Statement of Attainment.
Training Location:
Training is provided at the Down Under Training facility, located in Nexus Business Park, Paget, Mackay.
