Course Introduction:

The Standard 11 Refresher/RPL Underground (Combined) course is essential for workers in Queensland’s coal mining industry. This one-day course ensures compliance with legislation and helps you maintain up-to-date qualifications. Workers must complete the refresher every five years to remain compliant with industry standards.

Prior Evidence:

Before attending, you must provide:

• A copy of your previous Statement of Attainment
• Signed training transcript from your worksite that confirms prior training.

Course Overview:

This course is delivered in one day, blending self-paced theory with trainer-led practical sessions. This delivery method gives participants the flexibility to complete theory at their own pace while benefiting from hands-on guidance during practical exercises.

5. RIIERR205D – Apply initial response First Aid: Gain First Aid skills that enable you to provide immediate care before professional assistance arrives.
6. RIIERR302E – Respond to local emergencies: Learn how to handle site-specific emergencies effectively and confidently.
7. RIIERR203E – Escape from hazardous situations unaided: Learn techniques to safely escape hazardous situations without assistance.

Certification:

Upon completing the course and passing the assessments, you will receive a Statement of Attainment. This certification proves your qualifications are up-to-date.
