Essential Annual Safety Training for the Electrical Industry
Note:
It is a requirement that all Electrical Trade Assistants complete the UEECD0007 course or UETDREL006 prior to booking any of the LVR/CPR courses.
Course Introduction:
The Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and CPR Refresher Course is designed for individuals in the electrical field who need to renew their qualifications for performing rescues from live low voltage panels and delivering CPR. This refresher course ensures that your skills remain up-to-date with current safety standards.
The course is available daily and includes self-paced theory with trainer-led practical exercises.
Prior Evidence Required:
To enrol, participants must provide a copy of their previous Statement of Attainment.
Who Should Enrol:
This course is designed for electrical trade assistants and professionals in the electrical industry who are required to complete Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and CPR refresher training annually.
Course Overview:
The LVR/CPR Refresher Course, delivered over one day at our Mackay training centre, covers the following two competencies:
- HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Review the critical skills required to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).
- UETDRRF004 – Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel: Refresh your ability to perform rescues from live low voltage electrical panels in emergency situations.
Certification:
Upon completing the course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment, certifying your competency in performing CPR, rescuing from live LV panels, and applying WHS regulations in the electrotechnology workplace.
Training Location:
Training is provided at the Down Under Training facility, located in Nexus Business Park, Paget, Mackay.
