Course Introduction:
This one-day refresher course is designed for supervisors who are responsible for ensuring compliance with legislated risk management processes and have already attained their G2 Risk Facilitator qualification. It focuses on key updates for risk facilitators in the mining, construction, and safety industries.
As you progress through this course, you will stay informed about the latest legislative requirements for risk assessment and management. Consequently, this will help you keep your qualifications valid, allowing you to remain compliant and effective in your role.
Prior Evidence:
Before enrolling, you will need to provide evidence of previous training, including:
- A Statement of Attainment for the G2 Risk Facilitator course, or
- A signed training transcript from your site confirming your prior training
Course Overview:
Over one day you will complete one key competency:
- RIIRIS402E – Carry out the risk management process: You will learn how to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls to ensure workplace safety. This is crucial for supervisors managing safety and compliance.
Certification:
Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment. This will ensure your qualifications remain current, meeting legislative requirements for refresher training every five years or as required by your site.
Training Location:
Training is provided at the Down Under Training facility, located in Nexus Business Park, Paget, Mackay.
