Refresher Course.
Course Introduction:
This one-day refresher course is designed for anyone who may need to provide a first aid response in various situations. A refresher is required every three years to ensure your skills stay current and effective.
Prior Evidence:
Before attending the course, you will need to provide a copy of your previous Statement of Attainment.
Course Overview:
This one-day course is delivered through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, ensuring you have the practical skills and knowledge required to provide first aid in real-life situations, by a qualified trainer and covers the key competency:
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid: Equip yourself with essential first aid skills to respond confidently to emergencies.
Certification:
Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment.
Please note that the CPR component of this course needs to be refreshed annually – CPR Refresher Course.
Training Location:
This course takes place at the Down Under Training facility, located in Nexus Business Park, Paget, Mackay.

Course Overview:
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid: Gain comprehensive knowledge and skills to manage a wide range of emergencies, including bleeding, burns, fractures, and medical conditions.
- HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: Learn the critical skills of performing CPR on adults, children, and infants.
- HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide an emergency response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Participants will receive statements of attainment for the competencies HLTAID011, HLTAID009 and HLTAID010.
